You probably all know the ITCZ-the Inter Tropical Convergence Zone-otherwise better known as 'the doldrums'. Colloquially the doldrums represents the equatorial area where sailors of old were kinda stuck without much wind to push their tall ships along to the next source of booty. Booty used to mean 'loot', but has since taken on new meaning.
Much as I have been truant in my postings, there is a (somewhat lame) reason: both red cell and white cell production has fallen off a little, and it isn't very inspirational to be told to just wait and be patient. Somehow it just doesn't make for a riveting post-more the kind that is met with a surge of apathy. Having said that, I have been shamed by many of you to post something, if for no other reason than to verify I'm around and just waiting for better wind and news.
Next visit is 6/14 for repeat blood tests, another CT scan of chest/abdomen/pelvis (the fifth in the last 16 months), and maybe another Neulasta injection.
Thanks to all for your support and for urging me to send out an update, even if it did come slower than by a message in a bottle.
Kind wishes
T
