Missed planned chemotherapy yesterday as bone marrow suppression caused white blood cell count to be too low for treatment.  Sounds like something for late night comics:

'So let me get this straight: They give you chemotherapy to fight your cancer, but the chemotherapy suppresses your bone marrow so they can't fight your cancer?  Have the people at the They Institute figured this out, or is this just another bad medical joke?  By the way, 'bad medical joke' is redundant, as many of you unfortunately already realize.

Anyway, what's up with the ray of sunshine, you are probably asking: Well: a CT scan of chest/abdomen/pelvis showed marked improvement, and chemo will resume after another couple of weeks for bone marrow recovery.

Don't let the post holiday let down mess with you too much.  As in many things, this too shall pass.

    Thumbs up - keep on moving forward no matter how much you have to slog throught the muck! (you know I was going to say something a little different but I cleaned it up!!) Thought and prayers are with you and your family as always.
