So the bright idea of stopping meds, supplements, and having a Neulasta injection resulted in a dramatic increase in white blood count (to over double the upper end of the normal range). Conclusion: apparently my bone marrow CAN produce white blood cells when appropriately coached and pharmacologically encouraged! Yes!!!
So back to the Oncologist in a week and continued monitoring (what else is new?). All kidding aside this was great news and allowed me to stay in Bend Oregon for a week of skiing and fun with both daughters, SIL (son-in-law), my better half, and last but far from least, Vyx our resident canine.
